Julie and Julia

I liked this movie. I thought it was really cute and would be a good movie to watch with your family. I wish they would have met in the end though. That would have made the ending better. I also like how it showed how dedicated they both were to what they wanted to archive. If they would have given up they wouldnt be where they got. I thought it was cool how it is based on a true story! I would suggest this movie to my family to watch. I think that they would enjoy it!

#1 How are the concepts you are currently learning about in class/school reflected in the movie Julie & Julia?

- the concepts that i am currently learning about in class/ school that reflected in the movie would be that hard work pays off. That you have to apply yourself to something and really try to get anywhere with it. Such as in math class, you need to focus and give your time and attention to learning that subject. If you slack you will fall behind and not know what is going on, this will cause you to hate math and not pay attention in the near future because your so lost and dedicated.

#2 Pick one of the following career lesson we can learn from Julia and respond.

- Invest in yourself- Julia wasn't good with speaking French and it frustrated her. She then decided she was going to learn it so she could communicated. We can learn from her that you have to invest in yourself and what you are passionate for. She didn't need to sign up for the classes and have all that extra stress and homework but she wanted it for herself and she put the time into it. We need to invest in yourself so that if you love something and are passionate about it then you can expand within it. If we didn't take time to do things we love our life would be boring and dull. We need to do things for our self once in a while!

My interests and hobbies are photography and gymnastics. I also enjoy hanging out with cats.

I think that by the time that you are 30 you should some what have your life figured out but obviously not all the way. You want to know what your doing and where you want to go but things will happen and change and i dont think you ever have your life "completely" figured out.

For my photographer i chose to work in the manor of Jay Maisel. I chose this because i really like how he takes simple pictures of every day things. I like the fact that he takes pictures of every day life and captures the beauty in things many people don't necessarily see.
